I have been listening to ‘Scars’ in my car over the past few days. I have enjoyed the tracks ‘The Lord Heals the Broken-hearted’ and ‘Scars’ the most and I have found I am singing along to the album without much effort. As always, you have delivered a variety of songs and sounds that are unashamedly honest, Christ-centred and scripture-based, another very skilled and professional album.

The message of our hope in Christ’s healing, redemptive blood couldn’t be more pertinent in this broken age we are living in and I would recommend this album to anyone longing to spend more time with the Lord or anyone needing encouragement. It would be ideal as an evangelism tool to reach the lost.

Quite honestly Jules… after really listening to Red Red Blood of Jesus on ‘SCARS’, I’ve come to the conclusion it’s a master-crafted song made with deep reverence and love for the Lord.

To me, that’s why I pretty much exclusively listen to you. You put out high-quality music others cannot match. My 2 cents…..

“Just been listening to Scars again while out driving. So uplifting.

“The Scars music is so beautiful. Ballads, with angelic backing vocals of almost ten people in different configurations. Here and there Gilmour’s guitar will play, and maybe Rothere’s.

We’ll hear conga, mandolin, and ukulele, but also bass, drums, keyboard and of course Jules’ acoustic guitar and his deep and warm snging. Cohen, Simon & Garfunkel, Dylan, Pink Floyd vibes will be felt.

“I was listening to Scars in the car last night and it just takes me to a place which only a small select portion of Christian music does. It’s a brilliant piece of inspiration in my opinion.
